Dallas Cowboys Tickets

It is certainly amazing to see a group of men come together, without invitation, without any familiarity of each other, with a sole purpose. That purpose is to talk with excitement and sometimes also with words not found in the Webster's dictionary about America's Team the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys has brought together so many men that would not have otherwise met. They have been able to bring men together from different ethnic, social and religious backgrounds. A feat not many organizations, events or clubs could do.

Some conversations would sometimes begin with just two individuals, one asking the other the question, "what about dem Cowboys?." Then as if some secret invitation has been given those two men would be joined by sometimes ten to twenty other men to talk about their favorite NFL team the Dallas Cowboys.

From it's early history the Cowboys have been able to capture the hearts of many fans from it's local area as well as nationally and internationally. Because of this the Cowboys were given the name "America's team."

The Dallas Cowboys have been listed by Forbes Magazine as one of North America's most valuable team, having an estimated value of 1.173 billion. They are also one of the most wealthiest team in the NFL with an annual revenue of 250 million.

There is so much to talk about when it comes to this team, and with good reason, because they are one of the most successful teams in the NFL, having the record for the most consecutive winning seasons. The Dallas Cowboys were the first team to win 3 Super Bowls in just 4 years and only one team has been able to match that since then, that team is the New England Patriots. They are tied with the San Francisco 49ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers for having the most Super Bowl wins in NFL history.

What is particularly exciting about the Cowboys is that they were very successful during a 30 year period, qualifying for the playoffs 24 times. In that period they won 19 division titles and attended 8 Super Bowls.

However, with all of their success the Dallas Cowboys were faced with a period of defeat and having changed ownership did not seem to remedy this slide of defeat. This losing streak continued until their current owner Jerry Jones, new Head coach Jimmy Johnson and three players Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irwin turned the team around. The Cowboys glory days begun again with these three players Aikman, Smith and Irwin who brought an excitement to every game. Equipped with speed, agility, strength and smarts they led the Cowboys to victory once again.

All good things as its seems must come to an end, with the departure of these great players along with others from this the team, led to another streak of loses. However, even in their losing the Dallas Cowboys still continued to bring with it a certain electricity and excitement to it's fans. It is still America's Team and you can still hear in grocery stores, bars, church parking lots, school cafeterias, the question that sparks a gathering, "what about dem Cowboys?"
